PlantCon Houston 2025 Plant Competition
PlantCon is teaming up with the Houston Terrarium Society to host a terrarium competition at PlantCon Houston — and you’re invited to enter! It’s free to join and open to all experience levels. Entries will be on display all weekend, and yes — there will be prizes. Don’t miss your chance to have your creation seen by thousands of plant lovers!

Rules & Regulations
Pests
Kindly ensure that you thoroughly inspect all your plants for any signs of pests, as they will be in close proximity to other plants. Although our team will try their best to inspect plants during drop off, it is the responsibility of each participant to ensure their plants are checked. Remember to treat your plant with the same care and consideration as you would want for other plants, prior to being exposed to yours.
Fees
There is no entry fee to participate!
Transparency
One entry form per plant must be completed to participate.
Prizes
1st Place winners will receive a $50.00 cash prize. 2nd and 3rd Runner up winners will get a choice of free PlantCon Merch. (exclusions may apply)
No Plants Left Behind
All entrants can pickup their plants at the end of the convention. Any plants left behind will be donated to Houston Plant Swap.
