PlantCon Dallas 2024: August 31 - September 1 (Labor Day Weekend)

Workshops Info: Early Entry & VIP ticketholders will be able to signup starting at 8am, 2 hours before GA ticketholders. VIPs get free admission to TWO paid workshops per day, sign up is still required.

Workshop signups are in person at the check-in table outside the Workshop Room. First come, first served. For paid Workshops, you will be required to pay at signup. Workshop supplies will be included for attendants.

    Lil’ Frens was created in 2021, a year after Gladys graduated from the University of North Texas. Amongst the difficulties that come as an emerging adult and Covid, Lil’ Frens was a special and creative outlet for Gladys. Being an avid trinket lover, it made sense that Lil’ Frens were small friends you could take anywhere with you. You will hear that Lil‘ Frens are usually described as “desk buddies” that accompany those who work from home. Oh and by the way, Henry the Frog is the official mascot for Lil’ Frens.

    Nancy describes herself as a proud, long-time student of the University of Trial and Error. She got into serious gardening after attending the City of Dallas Water Wise Landscape School and learning about Texas native plants in 1998. Her plants now provide habitat for birds, bees and butterflies. Coming from a lineage of ranchers and nature enthusiasts, Nancy inherited her love for gardening from her grandmother and appreciation for nature from her father and brother, fostering a lifelong connection to the outdoors.

    Fidel Pineda’s journey of sobriety intertwined with his passion for nurturing plants. Rooted in passion and branching out as an interior plant designer who grows in semi hydro & brings nature into people’s home & business.

    Maylin Luke, the creative force behind Resting Plant Face, a brand born from her passion for plants and art.     Bonnie has been growing terrarium plants for over 30 years, along with working in the horticulture industry over 20 years. She began her nursery, Verdant Vivariums, over 12 years ago to share her love of tiny eco systems and dart frogs with the public.
